It can run in Docker containers, in applications hosted on github pages or in chrome extensions. dejavu is the only Elasticsearch Web UI that supports importing data through CSV and JSON files and defining field mapping from the GUI.

Install dejavu-Elasticsearch Web UI

In our installation, we will use Docker, but you can also install dejavu as Application hosted on github page, As chrome extension. For the Docker installation method, this means that you need to run the Docker engine or Podman container runtime.

Since this experiment was done on Ubuntu 20.04, I can easily install the Docker container runtime by running the following command in the terminal.

Once Docker or Podman is installed, you can use it to run the dejavu application to get the Elasticsearch UI.
