On the computer running Proclaim, download and run Newtek's NDI Scan Converter app. (A free download for Windows and Mac.) In the Newtek NDI Scan Converter app, choose to share the Proclaim window containing the Proclaim output. This will broadcast the output as an NDI source. Zoom is an easy-to-use cross-platform video conferencing solution. There are two ways that you can use Ecamm Live to enhance your Zoom chats.
Use Ecamm Live's Virtual Camera with Zoom
Important Note: Ensure that you have the latest version of Zoom, as some earlier versions did not work with virtual cameras.
Ecamm Live's Virtual Camera feature allows you to send the output of Ecamm Live to most any app on your Mac, including Zoom. This gives your Zoom call some great super-powers.
Use Ecamm Live to Broadcast Your Zoom Calls
While Ecamm Live doesn't have the same automatic integration with Zoom that it has with Skype, it's still possible to use Ecamm Live to stream your Zoom call to your audience on Facebook or YouTube. To do this, you'll simply need to use Ecamm Live's Screen Share mode to broadcast the Zoom app.
Faithlife Proclaim is a popular church presentation software suite. It does not have any specific integration with Ecamm Live, however it is possible to send Proclaim's output to Ecamm Live using the steps below:
Ecamm Live Download
- On the computer running Proclaim, if you haven't already, connect a secondary display, which will be used to present your Proclaim slides. Begin your Proclaim presentation by clicking the ON AIR button.
- On the computer running Proclaim, download and run Newtek's NDI Scan Converter app. (A free download for Windows and Mac.)
- In the Newtek NDI Scan Converter app, choose to share the Proclaim window containing the Proclaim output. This will broadcast the output as an NDI source.
Ecamm Live Mac
Run Ecamm Live on the same Mac, or another Mac on the same local network. You will now see NDI Scan Converter showing up as an additional camera source in Ecamm Live's camera switcher.
